Brian S. Cook

Mr. Brian S. Cook is currently CEO of Juniper Industrial Holdings (Juniper), which is a Special Purpose Acquisition Corporation (SPAC) that closed its Initial Public Offering of $345 million in November 2019. Juniper is focused on investments in the industrial sector. Prior to Juniper, Mr. Cook was Vice President of Corporate Development and Global Head of M&A for Honeywell International, Inc.

At Honeywell, Mr. Cook led the execution of over 60 buy and sell side transactions since 2003. Transaction experience includes a wide range of public and private transactions and joint ventures within North America, Europe and Asia across a variety of industries.

From 2017 - May 2019, he was responsible for leading Corporate Development and M&A for Honeywell on a company wide basis, reporting directly to the CFO. Mr. Cook oversaw a team of approximately 25 people on a global basis including the HON Ventures organization as well as Emerging Region resources based in China and India. He led the execution of the spinoffs of the Turbochargers and Homes businesses during 2018.

From 2001 to 2017, Brian was responsible for coordinating all aspects of acquisition and divestiture execution for the Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) Segment including targeting company identification and pre-screening, buy and sell-side due diligence, valuation and negotiation of definitive agreements. Brian has led the execution of over 50 buy and sell side transactions in the United States, Europe and emerging regions since 2003. Brian also leads Honeywell’s Asia Pacific Business Development organization located in Shanghai.

Brian started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he became a Director in the Transaction Services Group. There he was responsible for providing business and financial due diligence and transaction structuring services to a wide range of strategic and financial buyer clients in connection with domestic, cross border and global mergers and acquisitions. Industries of focus included automotive, consumer and industrial products as well as entertainment and media. Mr. Brian S. Cook received his BS in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island, College of Business Administration.
